The new portable cleaning machines being marketed by the company that made the machines used by homeless people to clean their rooms in shelters and prisons are now being widely advertised in the United States.
The products, which are being sold by companies like Amazon, Home Depot, and Best Buy, are marketed as a way for people to live independently while cleaning up after themselves.

The machines can vacuum up to 10 cubic feet of water per hour.
They also can scrub up to three feet of carpet and one foot of dirt per hour with a rinse cycle that takes up to two minutes.
