Lowes, a carpet cleaning and cleaning services company, has confirmed that the cost of cleaning carpet in a new house is a whopping $300.
Lowes’ data shows that an average household will pay $100 for the cost to remove the carpet and $160 for the carpet cleaning, while an average new home will cost $1,600 to clean a home.
This means that an adult household with one carpet can spend up to $1.6 million a year, or $1 million a week, cleaning their carpet.
That’s $300 a year for one carpet, or a $1 billion annual cost, according to Lowes.
The company also noted that it has been able to identify a handful of products which can be used for a cheaper price than carpet cleaning.
“In our experience, we’ve been able offer the highest-quality and cheapest carpet cleaning products for many years,” the company said in a statement.

According to the company, the average time to complete a carpet removal is 30 minutes.
If a homeowner chooses to hire a professional, they’ll pay an additional $100 per hour for the job.
The average cost per square foot for a carpet-cleaning job is $1.,200, according the company.
A home with a new home could cost as much as $2.2 million a decade, or about $1 trillion over the life of the house, according Lowes data.
